The Telecommunication Security (Introduction)

The telecommunication networks are considered a fundamental element to communicate between the people globally, as well as governments, companies, organizations, and hospitals, depend entirely on Telecommunications of both wired and wireless types, such as landlines, mobiles, satellites or internet lines. (Carritech, 2019)

Over the past twenty years, alerts have been issued to observe if the Telecommunication systems could be able to face a variety of threats which may impact on their services. These systems may be exposed to natural threats or attacks by individuals or organizations for sabotage or steal. (Carritech, 2019)

The research aims to discuss some of these threats and the ability of the telecommunication systems to prevent them.

SOFTWARE EXAMPLE(CISCO PACKET TRACER)

I will illustrate how can we create a simultaneous GSM network by using Cisco Packet Tracer. In the begging, I create a surveillance office, then connect them together as a network with different IP by switch device, which is also linked to the central office server. After that, I use 3 relay towers and link them to the central office server. The following picture shows the destination of the call from smart devices to the telecom provider and opposite.
